Forden comes into the frame re battle of Maes Madog and also close by the Battle of Rhyd y Groes, see P2 in following Post. Get on to road in the Westbury Direction and you are on the Roman Road and near to a now unused footpath to Cefn Digoll. Sure enough a rainbow did mark the spot but rain also theatened so I did not attempt making it to Cefn Digoll via a much briar tangled path way which today runs parallel single track private road to the TV Transmitter which note is a good location marker and keep that in mind as one can so easly get lost in a maze of sometimes very narrow and indeed dangerous lanes, take care!
